Another option is to create a score sheet for each team that contains an entry for each QR code location and the correct answer. Each location entry should display a clue about the location, the question, a space for an answer, the point value, and a space to mark off whether the response was correct.

You can also set up QR codes in different locations of a room and create stations that every team needs to complete. (Note: There are several kinds of systems emerging that will track the teams that have been to a site; however, I have not been able to use one successfully for an event.) Create a key that contains the correct answers to make it easy to quickly score the answer sheets. Send an e-mail instructing at least one person from each team to download a QR code scanner such as Kaywa (http://qrcode.kaywa.com) to his or her smartphone.
